This will be my fourth year of shaving my head for St. Baldrick's Foundation. Check out my
website. As of this posting I have $350 in online donations and another $100 in the mail. I have less than 4 weeks (closer to 3) to reach my goal of $1000. I've made it under the wire the last two years and hope to keep up the tradition. It would be great if I didn't have to wait until the last day to reach it, but I'll take what I can get, or give for that matter.
Last year I knew of one kid in my Boy Scout Troop that had to deal with cancer. This last year I watched a kid I've known since the early days of Cub Scouts go through treatments. I hope, I wish, I pray, I believe that I will see significant advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and cure of cancer in my lifetime. No child should have to suffer like this.
Shaving my head is such a little thing to do to show support. I will continue to do it year after year, whether I have hair to shave or not.
